President – William Mitchell
- William was one of two Drivetrain leads for the 2024 Baja season. He designed and assembled our optional 2×2 and 4×4 drive system which includes the drive axles, prop shaft, and CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).
- As president, William represents the club as a whole. He handles relations with the university and external affairs, such as coordinating volunteer opportunities and other events.
Team Lead – Colby Loy
- Colby led the design, manufacture, and testing of the steering subsystem as a lead in the 2024 Baja season, and ensured that the 2024 car was responsive, fun to drive, and maneuverable.
- As team lead, Colby oversees our design and manufacturing schedule and process. Colby coordinates with the subsystem leads to ensure deadlines are met throughout the Baja season and that the car gets done.
Treasurer – Garrett Anderson
- Garrett has continuously been an active and impactful member of UCF Baja since 2023, helping us remain productive.
- As treasurer, Garrett keeps track of our budget and finances including merchandising, member dues, and cost projections; as well as organizing the purchasing of needed materials.
Secretary – Benjamin Tracy
- Ben was the Ergonomics lead for the 2024 Baja season. He developed the seat, vehicle interface, and body panels, ensuring safety and minimizing driver fatigue.
- As our secretary, Ben is the head of outreach and marketing. He plays a pivotal role in securing and maintaining our numerous sponsors, communicating with our school, and recruiting new members.
